I just had a very good Taco Tuesday..my server was fantastic..food was WONDERFUL..Drinks were spectacular..a Eureka must..

Great food and awesome customer service, the staff always checks up on you regularly, and Rita herself checks in and serves, great for families, or date night for a drink.I highly recommend!

Okay Mexican food. Using logger card makes it worth it even more.

This place is so amazing I'm not sure where to begin. The food is incredible, service is a first class, and the drinks are off the charts. The menu is full of amazing choices. Actually the menu has such a selection you would think you were in Mexico. The flavors here are so good. Each fish is full of flavor without the spicy sensation. I actually prefer spicy, but the dishes are bursting with so much flavor it doesn't really matter. However there is a Chipotle burrito that makes me want to dance(salsa style!!). The Chile Colorado is absolutely incredible, Chile Verde melts in your mouth, and the margarita selection is just simply Mind-Boggling! To top it off Rita herself is such a gem. Had the pleasure of meeting her during our last family visit and she even gifted us with surprise berry tamales!! Can't wait to visit again!

Server was very friendly. Amazing choices for food and drinks. Had the margarita with dinner and it was very good.

Three people going out to dinner order about $40 in food and received a $90 bill. The restaurant was empty the food wasn’t that great. They charged us $10 in taxes 5 times. Im like what the hell? I don’t recommend going to this restaurant! The Mongolian beef in the buffets are better than the service we received at this restaurant.

I am very picky when it comes to mexican food and I dont eat spicy anything, but I ordered the Carne Gusida and it had green chili sauce over the top of it and it was a little spicy for me but at the same time I enjoyed the flavor that came from it. The rice and beans were great as well. I usually dont like Mexican rice other then my own. But this rice was good I enjoyed every bite. I will definitely return here everytime I am visiting. I am from Houston, Tx

It's time to find another Mexican restaurant. Rita's used to be good, and somethings are still ok, but through the years the quality has been going down while the wait time has been going up. The final straw, though was when Rita refused to honor a couple $50 gift cards that I tried to redeem for friends' and my dinners, claiming she didn't have a reader for them anymore. Thankfully Costco took them back so I wasn't out the money. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area, try a different one.

The food is always excellent and the staff are consistently friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and colorful. Good place to get Mexican food.

Great food and margaritas! Fast friendly service and fresh ingredients. Love the organic, vegetarian, and vegan options. Arcata location offers outdoor seating, which we love! Family, student, group, and solo friendly...I have always enjoyed my meals here. Rita's salsa is also our fave go to salsa for home =)

The one star is for Chris. He was the only employee that treated me in a nice way. The older woman who apparently is the owner ignored me from the moment I stepped into the place. I waited to be seated as instructed, she saw me, looked at me 3 or more times but otherwise did nothing. No smile. No, hold on a moment motion, nothing. No one else did either. I finally just sat myself at the bar. Here's the thing. Every time she went up and down the bar she spoke with and asked, what were clearly the locals, if they needed anything, etc...and ignored me. And one of her employee's did the same exact thing as well!So, if your out of town and looking for a comfortable bar to eat and hang out at, don't go there. If your local, my guess is your good.( also took my food back to the hotel, and my taco had parsley in it instead of lettuce-like whaaaat?)

We love going to Rita's for happy hour. Great deals for food and drinks. Great service from the staff. We always recommend Rita's.

Rita's is great! Great service. Great food. Great prices. I come in sometimes and get a couple chicken quesadillas and some black beans & rice. And it tastes excellent! I sit here doing paperwork enjoying the atmosphere and the music. And it usually costs me under $10

Absolutly love this place. Wonderful food. Great service. Always made to feel welcome. My husband and I went here on our first date. Needless to say we are repeat customers.

I always get good food here. The price is right and the margaritas are tasty! They DO get busy but the staff are always pleasant.

Fast friendly service! Owner is there if you care to say hi. Tasty specials, large menu, best margaritas imho, super prices. A must restaurant and bar to visit.

GREAT service and out standing food.

we got there at 910 pm,they were technically closed ...the waiter hesitated for a split second when we mentioned our luck (bad)with two other local restaurants starting at 8:55 pm and 9:01pm,neither would serve us.all 3 were closing at 9pm ( one,obviously early )..our waiter had a typical response considering the time,however when he saw our sadness and heard us say we're ready and won't be long ,he with a wonderful smile, quickly offered us a booth. all service,quality of food,and rapid responses were excellent.a very enjoyable experience.... Ritas will never be forgotten

The service was good but the food wasn't very good had a taco salad the median it was all cold and I just didn't look very good and it was very small so I probably won't be back

My to go order was ready when I got there. Efficient and friendly service, and the food is always good. Simple Mexican dishes prepared well and served in generous portions at reasonable prices. We'll be back.

Get that Cadillac margarita you won't be disappointed. Plus don't forget to get the carnitas or Al pastor tacos they are off the chain.

Delicious inexpensive Mexican food with friendly service

Good Mexican food here if you want to wait a super long time. The only reason I gave it three stars is because the food was good and the quantity was a lot. The service sucked and probably won't be back. I ask for some pineapple, not on the menu but clearly used for drinks and decor, they refused me. Pineapple is a great natural anti-inflammatory..

They get a minus -100 for putting huge chunks of FAT in my super burrito ‼️‼️‼️. I've never ever had a beef fat burrito in my life ‼️😢😭😭😭😠😠😠‼️‼️

This place used to be overpriced (still is if you order off the main menu) BUT items on their new specials menu are much cheaper and worth the money.

Love the atmosphere, the service, and the food

A great stop for lunch, or dinner. The food is delicious 👌, the drinks are well made, and the selections of both are outstanding. You have a picky eater like I do? No worries! Easy peasy lemon squeezey, just ask! It's one of two places in Eureka that my whole family never complains about. Rita's is perfect for all my clan!! (I even dine here all by myself, when I have a chance)

For everything I have heard about Rita's I found it kind of lacking and I was disappointed. Taco bar with no cheese. Tried to order 3 different cocktails. Out one main ingredient for each cocktail. I love, love, love rice I usually get in any Mexican restaurant but the rice I was served at Rita's was not very good. Employees were nice and helpful.

I work for doordash in there a little slow coming to the window other than that they're good

Rita's is touted as the best margaritas in the area, but I didn't quite agree. The food was very average, the waitstaff never came back to our table (we finally just went up front and paid), and two things we ordered never actually came.

Nice place for the locals and for the tourist. I have eaten both lunch and dinner here and have not been disappointed. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the Eureka area but this one stands out.I absolutely love their mild salsa; and can be found in local supermarkets for sale as well. Specialty orders off the menu are not a problem, they will do it the way you want it.Staff are friendly and courteous and that includes the owner as well. Who most likely you will see in the restaurant at any given time. You can tell she cares about her customers.I definitely recommend eating lunch or dinner here, keep in mind they are popular in town so they get pretty busy.

Great food for a great price! My #1 mexican food restaurant in Eureka, 3 months running! I dont eat out much so it's nice to have a place that's constantly satisfying.

Rita’s catered our dinner for 15 people. Marlon was fabulous. He explained what food was included in the very reasonable price, free delivery in Eureka. The meal was packaged perfectly and food SO delicious. We are extremely happy and recommend Rita’s for catering or any meal.

I ordered the enchiladas and the super burrito to go. Food was up to par. Would go there again. The one complaint was the chips weren't fresh but the food compensated well.

Not the most authentic Mexican food. I'm from SoCal and was expecting more flavor and spice. Although, they have good margaritas and drinks. I'd come back for taco Tuesday with friends. But the fajitas where greasy and bland and was hoping they would come on a slizzing plate.

Colorful, clean, festive atmosphere. I love the super burrito. Fast service.

It's not bad! Way better than other Mexican restaurants from Ukiah!
